Interesting! Dannebrog is a Danish circus, which is no reason why it shouldn't present a Christmas show in Germany.
Christian himself (and his given name is Christian) is Austrian. For several years he worked on Circus Herman Renz in Holland alongside the midget clown Milko (who is a director of Renz) using the name Christiaan. This year he is in Sweden with Maximum, having spent several seasons in Scandinavia, notably with Merano in Norway, but also with Finlandia in Finland. To my mind he's a decent clown, and a nice guy.
